Performance Art with 3 actors directed by Chreem

 

More than Performance Art, a Scenic Installation with actors. "No Action Syndrom" was an unforgettable performance that happened om the 90's in the famous bathroom of "Dr Smith” , a modern nightclub. This experiment consisted in a choreographed  baillerina chained, a man playing criquet with plastic doll heads and a caged man eating cigarettes.

Based on a concept of contemporary psychiatry, where the individual facing an adversity neither fight, nor run away.  "No Action Syndrom "is this situation where the person just submits himself to the aggression element and is not able to react.

Na ocasião, além da performance, uma série de instalações ocuparam a Dr Smith, uma casa noturna notóriamente “moderna”.  Os antológicos banheiros desse nightclub serviam de cenário a essa experimentação cênica. Uma bailarina acorrentada, um homem preso por elásticos jogava criquet com cabeças de bonecas.   “Síndrome de não-ação”  está baseado num conceito de psiquiatria contemporânea, segundo o qual o indivíduo não consegue reagir diante de uma agressão. Nem luta, nem foge, simplesmente se submete.
